Unfortunately, I have never had the opportunity to experience the Great Barrier Reef in person and I did not take this photograph, but I still have chosen this as something I believe is beautiful. I believe the coral reefs of the world are by far the most beautiful ecosystems on the planet, encapsulating a variety of organisms, structures and colours, giving them a unique natural beauty that cannot be seen anywhere else.
