Final Environment

Explanation

As always, i feel that an explanation is needed so that my full intentions are realised. I attempted to make my environment parody the fight to achieve power. The two offices for the clients are essentially one structure, trying to engulf the bridge which acts as a mediate. Personally, i think that out of the two clients, Jobs is more powerful, but Versace is the one who would express her power more obviously rather than jobs. Hence i gave her the space above the bridge. I made it extremely high and superficial, suggesting that she tries to oversee everything. I made Jobs avoid her view by building his space underneath the bridge - hidden from Versace. Jobs' office foyer has 8 pillars, 6 of which look like they are trying to grasp the bridge, and hence take control of it, while the other 2 actually penetrate Versace's space, suggesting that ultimately he has control over her. From the inside of Versace's space, it seems like those pillars are part of the office.

Versace's office is much larger than is actually needed , with a very large foyer to highlight her superficial qualities. Here she can hold massive parties, etc. (something that she is rather famous for).

Once you enter the meeting space, i made the bridge explode, suggesting that when these two powerful clients come together, there is a grand clash in power, which causes that explosion. I made Versace benefit from this by making the blocks form a stair case which Versace can enter her office from.

James had told me that when Jobs had a meeting, after it he would go far away to think about everything. I accentuated this concept by having his office in a surreal place. Also i extrapolated this knowledge and gave him 3 different offices so that he does not get bored in one place. Also i further developed the idea that Jobs overpowers Versace, by making teleporters that infiltrate different parts of Versace's space.

Also i added lots of moving particles in Jobs' foyer to highlight his power as an intellectual. These reflect electrical impulses in a circuit board. They also act as a defense system, as you can be hit by them and fall off. Versace has a quite similar "defense system" also. If you enter her foyer from the meeting space, the block will eventually fall through her foyer and could hit you. I thought this related more to power, rather than making them go around her office.

Finally, I created the entrance point of the environment to be a tall, confined, dark space to suggest that your being overpowered by the clients, however once you leave this room i gave the player the opportunity to go to either of the spaces first.
